Description
Gurdau Riesling Stará Hora 2022 is a dry Riesling from Moravia (Velkopavlovická subregion) with 13.5% vol. alcohol. The aroma evokes ripe peach, apricot, citrus peel and herbs, with pronounced minerality.
On the palate it is juicy, concentrated and structured, with notes of Asian pear, mandarin, elderflower and spice. Residual sugar 4.9 g/l. Fermentation and ageing for 6 months on fine lees in stainless-steel tanks. Suitable with veal, duck, fish with a butter sauce, risotto and cheeses; serve at 8–10 °C.
Use
Serve chilled as an accompaniment to more robust dishes or for festive dining; ideal temperature 8–10 °C.
