Description

Ethiopia Beshasha is a specialty arabica coffee from the Jimma region in western Ethiopia, grown at an altitude of 2040 meters above sea level. The coffee is cultivated by farmer Mustefa Abakena, who also collaborates with small-scale farmers in the area. The beans come from a mix of washed and naturally processed cherries – part of the harvest is fermented and washed, while the other part is dried for 24–27 days on raised African beds. Flavor: green tea, yuzu, mirabelle plumsLocation: Ethiopia JimmaAltitude: 2040 meters above sea levelVariety: Heirloom & 74110, 74112Processing: washedThe flavor profile is fresh, with notes of yuzu, green tea, a delicate acidity, and sweetness reminiscent of mirabelle plums. The coffee is particularly suitable for filtered preparations such as V60, Chemex, or Aeropress. Farmer Mustefa invests in the education of growers, ecological practices, and modern equipment. His goal is to improve the quality of the harvested cherries and support the long-term sustainability of the local coffee industry.
