BBQ
as a lifestyle

American cuisine is more diverse than you think. It's not just fast food. It's slow BBQ that takes all day. It's pancakes on Sunday morning. And a burger that can't be eaten neatly. We have everything you need on Rohlik.

Iconic food No. 1

Burger. But a proper one.

Smash burger, pulled beef burger, classic cheeseburger. Each has its own character. They all have one thing in common: the cheddar must flow.

The foundation of a good burger

Beef with a higher fat content. Cheddar that actually melts. BBQ sauce that smells of smoke. And a bun that holds it all together.

Try the smash burger with bacon jam and pepper mayonnaise or the classic grilled burger with caramelized onions. Both are available on Rohlik as step-by-step recipes.

Tip: the less you mix the minced meat, the juicier burger you will get.

BBQ: slow, smoky, perfect.

American BBQ is not grilling. It is a philosophy. The meat is not rushed. It is cooked low and slow for hours until it falls apart. The result? Ribs that slide off the bone. Pulled pork that disappears before you can even say pulled pork.

01
The right meat

Pork ribs or pork shoulder. The more fat, the more flavor after long cooking.

02
Season in advance

Dry rub made of smoked paprika, garlic, brown sugar, and pepper. Leave overnight in the fridge.

03
BBQ sauce at the end

Add it only in the last 20 minutes. Otherwise, it will burn and you will lose that caramelized crust.

Fluffy American pancakes with maple syrup and blueberries
Iconic dish no. 3

Pancakes. A Sunday ritual.

These are not our traditional crepes. They are thicker, fluffier, and drizzled with maple syrup, not jam. A breakfast to be eaten slowly, with a coffee in hand.

Maple syrup is not just a sweetener. It is a flavour. BIO Grade A maple syrup from Bionebio or Marks and Spencer maple syrup are exactly what pancakes need.

DoDo not overmix the batter. Lumps are fine. The fluffiness depends on it.
Don'tDo not add syrup to the batter. It belongs on top of the finished pancakes, otherwise they will burn.
