COMPETITION RULES „Become a master of home cooking with Knorr and Fabini!"

These rules ("rules") contain the complete regulation of the conditions of the consumer competition titled „Become a master of home cooking with Knorr and Fabini!“ ("competition"). These rules are continuously available throughout the duration of the competition at the internet address https://www.rohlik.click/tema/knorr-fabini and constitute the sole binding document in relation to consumers governing the competition rules. These rules may only be amended by written addenda to this document published in the same manner as this document. Excerpts from these rules or a shortened version of these rules presented in advertising and promotional materials are for informational purposes only and are not legally binding rules of this competition.

 

COMPETITION PROMOTER

The promoter of the competition is the company VELKÁ PECKA s.r.o., with its registered office at Sokolovská 100/94, Karlín, 186 00 Prague 8, Company ID: 030 24 130, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague under file no. C 226550 ("promoter"), operator of the rohlik.click e-shop.

 

COMPETITION ADMINISTRATOR

The administrator of the competition is the company UNILEVER ČR, spol. s r.o., Voctářova 2497/18, 180 00 Prague 8-Libeň; Company ID: 18627781, Tax ID: CZ18627781 (hereinafter referred to as the "administrator").

 

PLACE AND DURATION OF THE COMPETITION

The competition will take place in the territory of the Czech Republic at the internet address www.rohlik.click ("competition website") within the following competition period ("competition period"):

 

from November 17, 2025, 00:00:00 to December 17, 2025, 23:59:59 ("competition period")

 

The decisive moment for assessing whether a competitor has met the conditions for inclusion in the competition in the given competition period is the moment of sending a binding order for goods made through the rohlik.click e-shop, which subsequently (i.e., even after the competition period has expired) was not returned by the customer (either in whole or in part, if this would result in a decrease in the value of the minimum required order amount necessary for participation in the competition), or for which the buyer did not withdraw from the purchase agreement. To avoid doubt, it is stipulated that the assertion of a legitimate claim for goods does not reduce the value of the order for the purpose of participation in the competition.

 

COMPETITION PARTICIPANTS

Any natural person over 18 years of age who has a user account registered under their name on the rohlik.click e-shop and who fulfills the conditions for participation in the competition set out in these rules ("competitor") may be a participant in the competition. Given the possibility of purchasing goods on the rohlik.click e-shop only after prior registration, one user account maintained on the rohlik.click e-shop is considered one competitor.

 

All competitors who do not properly fulfill the conditions for participation in the competition in accordance with these rules during the competition period will be excluded from the competition. Furthermore, all persons in an employment or similar relationship with the promoter or administrator, persons personally and financially connected with the promoter or administrator, or who are in a relationship of close persons to such persons within the meaning of Section 22, paragraph 1 of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, as amended, are excluded from participation in the competition. Should such an excluded person become a winner, the prize will not be handed over to them and will be forfeited to the promoter.

 

The promoter reserves the right to exclude from the competition those competitors whose competitive behavior shows signs of fraudulent competition or for whom there is other reasonable suspicion of abusing the competition or circumventing these rules in violation of the rules or purpose of the competition. The promoter reserves the right at any time, at its discretion, to assess the fulfillment of the stipulated competition conditions by individual competitors and to exclude from the competition, at its discretion, competitors who do not meet the conditions stated in these rules.

 

PRIZES

The following number of prizes are included in the competition:

 

Main prize: 5x premium Fabini pan. Secondary prize: 20x Knorr gift package (containing a kitchen towel and a Knorr rubber oven mitt)

 

 

HOW TO VALIDLY PARTICIPATE IN THE COMPETITION?

Participation in the competition is conditional on placing orders for goods on the e-shop rohlik.click ("competition purchases"), provided that to be included in the competition, it is necessary to purchase at least 2 Knorr bouillon products in the online store Rohlík.cz during the competition period.

 

In the event that a competitor places an additional order for goods within a single order, before the actual delivery of that order, the final amount spent on one completed and actually delivered purchase, including all additional orders, is decisive for the order value.

 

Registration for the competition takes place automatically upon fulfillment of the above-mentioned conditions for participation in the competition (i.e., binding order, payment, and receipt of competition purchases). Every competitor who fulfills the conditions for participation in the competition set out in these rules will be automatically entered into the prize draw; however, they are not obliged to take any action or otherwise actively participate in the competition in the event of a win.

 

Each competitor may be entered into the draw only once in each competition period. If a competitor wins in the first competition period, that competitor will not be entered into the draw in the second competition period (i.e., one competitor can win a maximum of once in the competition). If a competitor who has already won one prize is drawn, the second drawn prize will not be considered, and a new competitor will be drawn for it.

 

You can refuse participation in the competition via our customer telephone line 800 730 740 or email zakaznici@rohlik.click. Each competitor may participate in the competition only once during the competition period.

 

The draw will take place within 7 calendar days after the end of each competition period. The winners will be drawn using a random number generator. In the event that an insufficient number of competitors participate in the competition or an insufficient number of competitors meet the conditions for winning prizes (and thus some or all of the prizes entered into the competition cannot be awarded), or if any of the winners refuse to accept the prize, the undistributed prizes will be forfeited to the promoter, who is entitled to decide on their further use.

 

ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS

The announcement of the winners of individual prizes takes place within 7 calendar days from the end of each competition period. In case of a win, the winner will be contacted by email at the email address associated with their user account on the rohlik.click e-shop and simultaneously by call and/or SMS message to the phone number the competitor provided in their user account on the rohlik.click e-shop. By participating in the competition, the competitor acknowledges that their email and phone number registered on the rohlik.click e-shop will be used to communicate the win in the competition. The promoter is not responsible for the provision of an incorrect email or phone number or any other error within the competitor's user account.

 

The prize in the competition may, at the promoter's discretion, also be handed over to the winner in person, or a personal meeting between the promoter and the winner may take place, at a time and place communicated by the promoter, unless the promoter and the winner agree otherwise.

 

The promoter reserves the right to change the rules of this competition at any time, or to limit, postpone, or interrupt its execution, including its validity period, or to terminate the competition, throughout the entire competition period. Such a fact will be immediately announced to competitors on the competition website. The promoter is entitled to check the fulfillment of all conditions for participation in the competition and, in case of dispute, to make a final decision on any matter related to the competition. Any objections to the course of the competition must be sent by the competitor to the promoter within 5 working days from the end of the given competition period, in writing to the promoter's registered office address. Later objections will not be considered. The promoter is not responsible for any damages incurred by winners (competitors) or third parties in connection with participation in the competition or the realization of prizes.

 

PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

By participating in the competition, the competitor acknowledges that for the purpose of organizing the competition, it is necessary to process personal data to the extent of: first name and last name, phone number, email address, and information about the competition purchase.

 

The competitor further acknowledges that the company VELKÁ PECKA s.r.o., with its registered office at Sokolovská 100/94, Karlín, 186 00 Prague 8, Company ID: 03024130, as the personal data controller, is authorized to process their personal data to the extent specified above, or other data communicated to the promoter, for the purposes of participation in the competition (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council), this purpose including, in particular, the following processing operations:

  • storage of personal data for competition registration;

  • sending informative emails, or contacting competitors via calls or SMS regarding the organization and conduct of the competition;

  • processing of personal data for the purpose of checking and evaluating the competition according to the rules;

  • personal, telephone, written, and electronic contact for the purpose of verifying the competitor's fulfillment of competition conditions, information about the win, and other related communication.

Personal data will be processed automatically and securely in electronic form for the period necessary for organizing the competition, checking the fulfillment of competition conditions, and any inspection by public authorities, for a maximum of 3 years from the end of the competition, unless the law stipulates a longer period.

 

The administrator is the processor of the promoter in relation to the personal data of competitors.

 

As a data subject, the competitor has the rights listed below, which arise for them from legal regulations and which they can exercise at any time. These rights include (i) the right to access personal data, (ii) the right to rectification of inaccurate or false personal data and to complete incomplete personal data, (iii) the right to erasure of personal data if the personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed, or if it is found that they were processed unlawfully, (iv) the right to restriction of processing of personal data, (v) the right to data portability, and (vi) the right to object, after which the processing of the competitor's personal data will be terminated, unless it is demonstrated that there are compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests or rights and freedoms of the competitor, especially if the reason is the potential enforcement of legal claims. At the same time, the competitor has the option to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which in the Czech Republic is the Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz).

 

To exercise their rights, lodge a complaint, or in case of any query, the competitor may contact the controller by email sent to: privacy@rohlikgroup.com or zakaznici@rohlik.click.

  

The promoter is, based on legitimate interest, entitled to freely disseminate the first name, first letter of the last name, and city of residence of the winner in the competition. In the event of a personal meeting between the promoter and the winner or the handover of the prize, the promoter is also entitled to freely capture, display, reproduce, and disseminate the likeness, portrait, photographic images, and audio-visual recordings related to the winner, including their processing and inclusion in an audiovisual work, on the competition website or the promoter's social media, for the duration of the competition and for a further period of 1 week from the end of the competition period. The competitor may object to this processing.

 

INCOME TAX FROM THE COMPETITION

By participating in the competition, the competitor acknowledges that only prizes up to a value of 10,000 CZK (incl. VAT) are exempt from personal income tax. If the value of the prize exceeds 10,000 CZK (incl. VAT), the prize is subject to taxation in accordance with Section 36, paragraph 2, letter i) of Act No. 586/1992 Coll., on Income Taxes, as amended, and it is necessary to deduct tax from it collected by withholding according to a special tax rate (so-called withholding tax). The withholding tax on the prize will be paid by the competition promoter in accordance with legal regulations.

 

FINAL PROVISIONS

By participating in the competition, the competitor unreservedly accepts that the competition is organized and administered according to Czech law and that any disputes related to the competition will be resolved exclusively before the courts of the Czech Republic.

 

Payment of a monetary equivalent instead of a prize is not possible, and the competitor is not entitled to demand a prize exchange.

 

Unless otherwise specified by the promoter or these rules, all announcements about the competition, its progress, and changes will be made via the competition website.

 

The promoter is not responsible for the temporary unavailability of the competition website caused by objective circumstances, especially internet connection defects or other technical outages.

 

The authority authorized for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes arising in connection with the participation of a competitor, who is a natural person – consumer, in this competition is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, on whose website (www.coi.cz) the competitor will find, among other things, information on the method and conditions of out-of-court dispute resolution, as this procedure can only be initiated based on the competitor's proposal and after they fail to resolve the dispute directly with the promoter. The form for initiating out-of-court consumer dispute resolution proceedings is available on the website of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority.

 

A competitor who is a natural person – consumer also has the right to initiate online out-of-court dispute resolution through the ODR platform available at https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/odr/main/index.cfm?event=main.home.show&lng=CS. The out-of-court dispute resolution procedure is not mediation according to Act No. 202/2012 Coll., on mediation, nor arbitration proceedings according to Act No. 216/1994 Coll., on arbitration proceedings and enforcement of arbitral awards, as amended, and its use does not affect the competitor's right to turn to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority or a court with their claim.
