About the winery
While Accolade Wines is a young company, its history runs deep and it has a proud heritage that includes some of the first wineries established in Australia. Hardys, a brand that pioneered a great tradition of wine blending, crushed its first grapes in 1853, while the roots of Western Australian flagship brand Houghton date back to the mid-1930s. This rich heritage has helped them build one of the world’s leading wine companies, which today supplies approximately 27 million cases each year to 132 countries worldwide.
