Finely chop the tomatoes, chilli peppers, and onion. Be careful when handling the chilli peppers – use gloves or wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water afterwards, and avoid touching your eyes for several hours.
Set aside some of the seeds from the peppers. If the salsa is not spicy enough, you can add them later for an extra kick.
Salsa preparation
Place all the ingredients in the bowl of a food processor fitted with a blade attachment. Pulse just a few times – so that the ingredients are finely chopped but do not turn into a puree. If you do not have a food processor, chop everything finely by hand.
