Cook the quinoa according to the package instructions.

Sauté the finely chopped spring onion in olive oil, add the tomato paste, garlic, and tomatoes, and pour 100 ml of water over everything. Cover with a lid and let it simmer for 5–10 minutes.

Add the drained chickpeas along with two teaspoons of hot paprika, stir, and cook for another 5 minutes.
