Preparation method
Ingredients overview
- 1 kg small raw potatoes (cooking type A)
- 250 g skimmed quark
- 180 g low-fat sour cream
- 1 handful fresh chives
- 1 handful spring onion
- 2 tablespoons ghee
- pinch of salt
Clean the potatoes with a brush and wash them (do not peel!). Prepare a pot with water, bring to a boil, then add the potatoes and cook them covered over low heat until tender (this will take approximately 30 minutes). Meanwhile, prepare the quark mixture – in a bowl, mix quark, sour cream, chopped chives, and salt.
Once the potatoes are cooked, drain the water and while still warm, mix them with the prepared quark mixture. Then drizzle the potatoes with quark with melted ghee, sprinkle with spring onion, and serve.
You can serve the finished dish warm or chill it in the refrigerator before serving.
